Combining heartable countdown images with quotes, movie stills and memes, The DUFF garnered considerable excitement from the We Heart It movie enthusiast community.
In order to capitalize on the custom heartable images, CBS Films also featured ticket purchase calls to action allowing members to reserve movie tickets with one simple click.
We Heart It also called upon power users and YouTube stars, The Merrell Twins, during the film’s press junket. The girls sat down with the cast for an exclusive interview about the movie, the app and more, providing behind-the-scenes content for our community.
The custom Merrell Twins video has been hearted more than 3,700 times, and earned about 200k views on YouTube.
